California Flood Repair
Repairing flood damage is not my usual frame job, but this one got me out of the snow and onto a job site with a swimming pool. A nice touch in January.

When I left Easton I knew it was snowing here and I had an easy job of replacing about eight feet of wall and a vanity. With a 1025 mile commute, each way.

When I got there, and the mold abatement guys had gotten done, I found almost forty linear feet of wall stripped to the studs in two bathrooms and the master bedroom.  The walls, vanity, and flooring had to be replaced.  So much for a three day job, followed by a little relaxing in the sun.

The replacement bath turned out sharp.

While I was doing the flood repair, my wife and children helped the homeowners repaint parts of the house that had been unaffected by water damage, but suffered from beigeitis.

The owners are planning on getting a cesky terrier later this year, and took this wallpaper scrap to be a sign from God, or Dog, that it was a good idea.  You can almost see it's cute little button nose.
